This is an excerpt from “El Alma Humana”, a fanfic in spanish. And I am crying while I am reading it.
I’ve translate it but I doubt I’ve done a fine work… Sorry
“In the second Peter’s arms envelop her, Olivia feels that the worst is over, they’re safe from the world. Smiling slightly, she lifts her face to hide it under his chin, caressing him with her nose and lips. After the nights she has lain awake wishing that Peter was beside her, this is just a miracle. The satisfaction and relief are overwhelming. She was dearly afraid that the only thing left of her husband at that point was an empty shell, to be unable to get to him, not to get him back, that neither she nor her love were enough… She smiles again and kisses him on the Adam’s apple.
Peter has returned to her.
Crossing universes, wading betrayals and brainwashings, against the possibility of an apocalyptic future that did not happen, or emerging from a time that never existed, Olivia had always loved him passionately, irremediable. And in this moment, while Peter holds her and cries with her, she realizes that he loves her in the same way.”
